Train Toddler Number Puzzle

If you're looking for a toddler puzzle that is educational yet does not overwhelm your toddler with too many pieces or too difficult of skills, this educational puzzle might get your child "all aboard" with learning!

Our cute train toddler puzzle has 5 train cars that fit together like a puzzle to form a 20 inch long train. Inside each train car is a number puzzle piece (numbers 1 through 5). 18 plastic counting pegs are included and fit into the holes on each train car (train cars have enough holes to equal the number that is shown).

Point to a number puzzle piece and ask your child to name the number and place it inside the appropriate train car puzzle frame. Then ask your toddler to count that same number of pegs and place them into the holes on the train car (pegs can be placed one in each hole or stacked on top of each other). Younger toddlers will need a lot of adult assistance but will become more independent as they learn the numbers and what each represents.

You can start with only the first two train cars and once your toddler understands the concept, more train cars can be added to the toddler puzzle. This is also a great preschool puzzle for reinforcing learned number skills.
