Elementary Math Game

Our Primo Calculino elementary math game is a fun way for children to practice their math skills.  The game can be adapted to various learning levels, beginning with addition only and progressing to subtraction and multiplication.  Level is indicated by card color.

The game premise: John (a cute wooden figure) travels from player to player with a grocery bag card showing the number of items that will fit in his bag.  Each player has food cards displaying a specific number of oranges, eggs, grapes, etc.  If the player has exactly the right amount of food for John's shopping bag (determined by adding the number of food on each card), then the player keeps the shopping bag card and is the first to try to fill John's next bag.  The player with the most shopping bag cards at the end of the game wins.

This elementary math game is excellent since it encourages more than simple 1 + 1 adding and also provides a somewhat realistic application for your child to practice math skills.

2 to 4 players can participate in the elementary math game.  Recommended for ages 5 and up.  Older children can play with higher level shopping bag cards and may use other math skills such as multiplication and subtraction.
