Choose Your Tog:

What? A tog? Yes, a tog. A tog is a European warmth rating for products. The higher the tog, the warmer the product will be for your child.

• 0.5 Tog - Hot weather or warm nursery environments of 73-80 degrees Farenheit.
  
• 1.0 Tog - Warmer weather and nurseries 69-73 degrees Farenheit.
• 2.5 Tog - Standard nursery temperatures of 61-69 degrees Farenheit.
  

Now that you know what a Tog is, which do you choose? My personal preference with my infant was to use a 0.5 Tog during the summer and a 1.0 tog in the winter. Sometimes he wore a onesie or long-sleeve pajamas underneath as well. Of course, you should consider the clothes your child is dressed in, nursery temperature, child's health, and the amount of bedding that is usually necessary to keep your child comfortable before selecting the appropriate Tog of Grobag.

Sizing:

0-6 month Grobag - Fits most babies 7-17 pounds and up to 27 inches long.

6-18 month Grobag - Fits most babies/toddlers 18-24 pounds and 28-34 inches long.

Please note that it is important that your baby's head cannot slip down through the Grobag while it is fastened for use. Sizing and tog recommendations are guidelines only as all babies are different. Check your baby regularly so that he/she does not overheat.
