Shipping and Returns

Shipping Information

Orders shipped FREE will be sent via carrier of our choice.

 

Transit times are based on business days upon shipment.

Express Shipping

Express shipping options are available during checkout.  Most orders placed before 10am EST will ship the same business day, excluding personalized items.  Orders shipping via any express method will be delivered during business days only and not during the weekend or on holidays.  Please contact us if you need your item by a specific date and we will help you figure out the best shipping method.

Free Shipping

If your order qualifies for free shipping, we will ship your parcel to you via our carrier of choice, which is usually USPS Priority Mail.  Please note that if you receive free shipping and then return items so that your order total falls under the free shipping minimum, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your return.

Shipping Insurance

Though we rarely have problems with shipping damage/loss, you can add shipping insurance to your order to further protect your items.  Orders shipping via UPS are automatically insured.  If your order is shipping via first class or Priority mail, please contact us if you are interested in purchasing insurance, and we can provide a quote.   Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged packages once they are shipped with the carrier. If a package is lost by the carrier, and there is no insurance, the customer may repurchase those items from Gator Tots at a considerable discount, but we cannot replace them for free.

Any shipping damages are to be reported to Gator Tots within 2 days of delivery, and we will help you submit damaged goods reports to the shipping carrier. You may also contact the shipping carrier directly. Please save all box and packaging materials for the carrier to inspect.

Shipping Address Error

If you place an order, and it is determined that the address you have provided has been changed/corrected directly by the shipping carrier in order to deliver your package, we receive a $10 charge which we will have to assess to your account.

 

Delivery Refused by Customer or Cancelled after Shipment from Gator Tots

Such orders are subject to a restocking fee of 15%, and shipping costs are not refunded.

 

International Shipping Policy

International customers are responsible for any duties or customs fees applied by the destination country. We are required by law to list the shipment contents and price you paid for our products for customs. When your package arrives in your country, you may be contacted to arrange payment of any local duties, taxes, and other customs charges. Please understand that we have no control over this process. For some international shipments, the carrier charges additional "disbursement" or "advancement" fees which will be passed on to the customer. Again, these regulations are not set by us, and we have no option but to abide by the rules.

 

Payment Information

Gator Tots accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, as well as all major credit cards and bank transfers through Paypal, a highly trusted and well-known payment processing company. No Paypal account is necessary. Whichever method you prefer, your sensitive financial information will be protected; rest assured that we will only use your information to process your credit card payment. We also accept e-checks through Paypal, though your items will not be shipped until your payment has cleared.

 

 


 

 

Return Policy

 

Gator Tots accepts returns or exchanges received within 30 days of original purchase date. Here are a few little rules:

  • All returns must be in saleable condition - meaning undamaged, no signs of use, and in unopened packaging/box with all included tags, bags, inserts, owners manuals, warranty registration cards, and accessories. *Items that smell of smoke cannot be returned or exchanged.

  • Return shipping cost is to be paid by the customer.

  • Please package returned items in an appropriate box with any necessary cushioning. We are not responsible for damage/loss of items due to improper packaging; such shipments may be refused or returned with shipping costs charged to your account. You may wish to insure your package with the carrier as well as obtain a tracking number.

  • Complete the return form on your sales receipt, and include a copy of your receipt with your return.

  • Personalized items may not be returned since they cannot be resold. 



*The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the reason for return is due to our error.  Items that do not fit according to a manufacturer's general size guidelines, vary slightly from product photo, or simply are not as easy to use as expected are not to be considered misrepresented and must be returned or exchanged at the customer's expense.

*Original shipping charges are not refundable unless an item is being returned without exchange due to our error.

Crediting Your Refund

A refund will be issued (if above conditions are met or we grant you a return for other reasons) to the original card holder upon receipt of the returned merchandise and credited according to the original payment method. If returning an item that gained a quantity discount when originally purchased, the refund amount will be adjusted so the accompanying item not returned is then charged at a non-discount price. Unfortunately, shipping and gift wrap costs cannot be refunded, unless otherwise stated by us. Please allow up to 48 hours, excluding weekends and holidays, after receipt of your return for us to credit your account.

 

Defective/Damaged Goods

All defective products must be reported to Gator Tots within 2 days of "delivery date". After this time, you must contact the manufacturer if any warranty applies. We will work with you to replace or refund your purchase if we are notified within the stated time period.

If items are damaged during original shipment to you, you should retain all packaging and materials for placing the claim with the shipping carrier. Contact us immediately so that we can help with the claim process.

UPS shipments are automatically insured by the carrier. Customers selecting a USPS shipping method such as first class, priority mail, or parcel post must purchase shipping insurance during checkout for their packages to be covered in case of damage or loss by the shipping carrier.

Missing or Incorrect Items

Although we double check all orders for accuracy, we occasionally make mistakes. If you are missing an item or received an incorrect item, we require you to contact us within 2 days from "delivery date". We document and keep on file all orders with shipping weight and packing list to verify correct shipment of items ordered. If we determine there was an error on our part, we will make the necessary adjustments to correct your order.

 

Shipping Address Error

If you place an order, and it is determined that the address you have provided has been changed/corrected directly by the shipping carrier in order to deliver your package, we may receive up to a $10 charge which we will have to assess to your account. If such a package is returned to Gator Tots instead of delivered, you may receive a refund (less original shipping charges) or pay to have the package delivered to the correct address.

Promotional Items

 

Promotional items that are included as a free gift or free item cannot be exchanged, returned, or used as credit towards your purchase. Gator Tots reserves the right to substitute the said item with another item of equal or lesser value in the case that the item is no longer available.
